Dr. Micallef-Trigona is a visiting lecturer at the University of Malta, with research focusing on neuropsychiatry, brain stimulation, treatment-resistant depression, anxiety disorders, early intervention in psychosis, occupational psychiatry, and PTSD. He has published extensively, is involved in clinical audits and medical education, and was a founding member of the Malta Association of Psychiatric Trainees and the Maltese Association of Psychiatry, where he currently serves on the executive council.
