Dr Beppe Micallef-Trigona
Psychiatrist
AVAILABILITY: Wednesdays 1:00pm – 6:00pm

About

Dr. Beppe Micallef-Trigona is a Maltese psychiatrist with experience as a consultant for the UK Ministry of Defence and the NHS. He holds a medical degree from the University of Malta, an MSc from Aston University, and is certified in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. He is registered with the Malta Medical Council and the UK's General Medical Council, and is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists.

Specialisation

His clinical expertise includes treatment-resistant depression and anxiety, sports and exercise psychiatry, neuropsychiatry (multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, dementia), occupational psychiatry, and PTSD treatment. He offers psychiatric consultations and low-intensity CBT.

Dr. Micallef-Trigona is a visiting lecturer at the University of Malta, with research focusing on neuropsychiatry, brain stimulation, treatment-resistant depression, anxiety disorders, early intervention in psychosis, occupational psychiatry, and PTSD. He has published extensively, is involved in clinical audits and medical education, and was a founding member of the Malta Association of Psychiatric Trainees and the Maltese Association of Psychiatry, where he currently serves on the executive council.

Warranted Gestalt Psychotherapist

Carly Ciantar is a warranted Gestalt Psychotherapist with a Master's Degree in Gestalt Psychotherapy from GPTIM and a Bachelor's in Psychology from UOM.

Specialisation

Her therapeutic expertise has a wide range of backgrounds. She has experience working with clients suffering from anxiety, loneliness, self-esteem, and eating disorders amongst other issues. She currently specialises in working with patients suffering from terminal illnesses, as well as working with grief and bereavement.

Her aim is to guide individuals on a transformative journey to self-discovery by providing the right support and guidance for one to become more self-aware of their actions, thoughts, and emotions.

Her goal is to empower clients to take control of their lives, make positive changes, and lead a more fulfilling existence.

Ms. Nicolette Cachia
Warranted Counsellor and Coach

Nicolette is a warranted counsellor and coach dedicated to helping clients achieve clarity, overcome burnout, and break free from self-doubt. Her aim is to support people in empowering themselves to live with intention, joy, and fulfilment.

Specialisation

Nicolette specialises in helping individuals overcome limiting beliefs and supports them in creating the changes they yearn for in their lives.

She has worked in various settings, most notably with asylum seekers and refugees with a history of trauma. She has a special interest in working with persons experiencing anxiety, navigating life transitions, and grief and bereavement.

With nearly a decade of experience in mental health and personal development, Nicolette provides individual sessions to help you gain a better understanding of your feelings and thought processes while helping you find solutions to your daily challenges or problem.

Dr. Rosienne Camilleri
Warranted Couple and Family Therapist
AVAILABILITY: Alternate Mondays 1:00pm till 7:00pm, Fridays (all day) and Saturdays 9:00am till 2:00pm

Dr Rosienne Camilleri is a warranted couple and family therapist and an academic lecturer at the University of Malta (UoM). With a Master's degree in Systemic Practice and Family Therapy from the UoM and a doctorate in Education from the University of Sheffield, she blends her expertise in therapy and education to offer a holistic, compassionate approach to care. She is a member of the Malta Association of Family Therapy & Systemic Practice (MAFT). 

Specialisation

Dr Camilleri offers tailored therapeutic solutions to address a wide range of personal and relational issues. Her areas of specialisation include enhancing parent-child and adolescent relationships, supporting couples through conflict resolution and growth, and guiding individuals through significant life transitions such as parenthood, menopause, separation, and other challenging phases. Committed to fostering meaningful change and empowering her clients, Dr Camilleri creates a safe and supportive space where individuals, couples, and families can explore their concerns, rediscover their strengths, and work towards a more fulfilling future.
